Scorton Lakes, Scorton Village , Bolton on Swale , return via Bolton on Swale Lake– 6 miles

8 walkers met at Scorton walk car park for Brian and Sarah’s tour of our local lakeside nature reserves. The weather was chilly, but stayed dry and binoculars were at the ready to take in the available wild fowl as we wandered alongside Scorton Lakes . We took a break at Bolton –on-Swale churchyard and returned via the Coast to Coast trail , pausing at the Bolton-on-Swale nature reserve bird hide on the way back to the cars .
