Middleham to Hullo Bridge, Caldbergh, and Tupgill Park, returning via Middleham Low Moor – 7.5 miles

Our walk began with a parade of very impressive racehorses at the start of Carol’s walk from Middleham. Our group of 10 walkers followed the Six Dales Trail over to Hullo bridge and then climbed on to Braithwaite Hall . We had lovely views over to Coverham Abbey as we crossed Hanghow pastures to Caldbergh. The warm morning developed into a hot day as we tackled an overgrown green lane on the way to our lunch stop at Tupgill Park. We had gorgeous views as we made our way back to Middleham alongside the gallops. A wonderful walk was made perfect by well earned refreshments in the Dante Arms beer garden on our return .
