Redmire station, Bolton Hall, Tullis Cote, Preston-under-Scar - 7 miles.

Six walkers convened in an icy car park by Redmire station for Carol’s walk Despite freezing temperatures, the weather was lovely – clear , dry and increasingly sunny as we made our way through the Bolton Hall estate. The muddy paths underfoot were improved by semi frozen earth and we had a great coffee break in glorious winter sunshine. There were wonderfully festive views towards snowy high fells as we made our way back to Redmire where the car park had thawed slightly. A lovely walk enjoyed by all.
