Wensley, Tullis cote, Preston Moor, Cobscar Mill, Dent’s Houses, Redmire, river path back to Wensley. 13.8 miles

14 walkers met at Wensley for Ann’s walk. It was a cold and breezy climb past Broomber Rigg with a very civilised coffee stop at Cranehow Bottom. There were lovely views over Wensleydale as we headed for Dent's houses. The sun came out, perfectly timed for our lunch near Castle Bolton. The afternoon warmed up considerably and we enjoyed gorgeous autumn weather and scenery as we followed the river back to Wensley. Perfect for picking sloe berries ! Thanks to Ann for a superb day out.
