Pott Moor . Lofthouse Moor and Arnagill moor, 12 miles

Nine hardy walkers met at Leighton reservoir on a chilly, but dry morning. Our route up onto Lofthouse moor via Pott moor gave us fabulous views of Nidderdale, with Scar house reservoir clearly visible . We had a very festive  break at the shooting hut overlooking Thrope Edge. We returned by Combs Fell  and Arnagill moor, taking our  lunch stop amongst Combs Crags. The weather stayed kind, increasingly brightening  as we made our way down to Roundhill reservoir and followed the road back to  the cars. Thanks to Anne for a lovely day!
