A hardy group of seven walkers set out on a 11 mile loop from Carlton in Coverdale . We had a chilly and windy start as  we made our way to Hindlethwaite Hall via West Scrafton and Swineside. We tackled some rather boggy ground in places! Having passed through Arkleside and Braidley , we then climbed Denman's Hill to reach Fleensop moor. Improving weather meant that we had beautiful views of Coverdale   as we made our way back to Carlton. Thanks to Janet and Mike for a great walk!
