A circuit from Sutton Bank  via Cold Kirkby  - 7 miles

Four brave souls headed out along the escarpment at Sutton Bank with wonderful views of Lake Gormire and the surrounding countryside for approximately 2.5 miles before heading east along Wethercote lane and past the farm. After having lunch   at Cold Kirby ,  we then returned via Hambleton House horse training stables to the visitor centre where we had refreshments.  The  walk was shortened to 7 miles based on a poor  weather forecast and remarkably the majority of the walk was held in the dry with some small showers and light wind.
