Starting at West Burton, then uphill to Aysgarth Church after which we follow the River Ure to Redmire Force . Then along to Swinithwaite ,  following  the ridge back to West Burton via Morpeth Gate and West Burton Falls - 9 miles

A successful mission completed by eight hardly souls despite the damp conditions. A brief lunch was had at Redmire Force. Along the way we saw several curlews and oystercatchers as well as a lot of soggy sheep! All rounded off by tea and biscuits at Redmire tearoom (also known as Castlerigg).
