From Reeth the route goes through fields by Reeth Primary school onto open moorland. Passing Calver Hill with good views of Arkle Town before dropping into Arkengarthdale. Then taking  a footpath on to Fremington Edge and back into Reeth - 10.5 miles

We were blessed with reasonable weather on our Sunday walk from Reeth with amazing views and a good turnout of eleven walkers . All went to plan except a slight detour from Fremington Edge due to gusty wind. We started on time going past the school up through fields , onto tracks around Calver Hill over moorland to Arkle Town and up through the quarry onto Fremington Edge for lunch and then down to Reeth for refreshments in the Buck Inn. All in all a smashing day.
