From Marske (Swaledale) heading north to Kexwith via Telfit Farm, Helwith, Holgate. Returning via Schoolmaster Pasture, Shaw, Skelton Moor - 12 miles

Autumnal weather of hill fog and a light drizzle did not deter eight members  from enjoying the moorland  scenery between Marske and Kexwith. As we reached Holgate the visibility improved to showcase  the heather. En-route we saw a few grouse, Belted Galloway cattle, White Park cattle with calves and of course Swaledale sheep.   Shortly before getting back to the cars the heavens opened. Fortunately we were in a small patch of woodland so didn't get soaked through.
