Following  the Cleveland Way from Kildale to  Captain Cook's Monument  & Roseberry Topping. Return via Newton moor and Percy Cross Rigg - 9.5 miles

Four members set off from Kildale on a chilly  Sunday morning . A couple of deer were spotted on the climb up to Captain Cook's monument . Although the day started overcast, it stayed dry and we did  get a few moments of sunshine.  The visibility was good enough for impressive views from  the summit of Roseberry Topping. On finishing, we celebrated our good day out with a  drink at the Dudley Arms  in Ingleby Greenhow!
