From Reeth to Marrick Priory using field paths, tracks and riverside paths. Climbing up onto Fremington Edge before descending back to Reeth - 9 miles

Nine members and one guest met in the centre of Reeth. The walk took us along the river Swale and then onto Marrick Priory, before ascending through Steps Wood and onto Marrick. The route then took us in front of Barf House Farm and onto Fremington Edge where the views were wonderful before descending back into Reeth. The weather was humid and hot with a welcome cooling wind. Refreshments were taken afterwards at the Black Bull.
