Walking from Thirsk, north to Moat Plantation, Willow Garth, Carlton Miniott then returning along Westfield Lane into Thirsk - 6.5 miles

On today's walk we had 8 members plus the leader . We set off from St Mary's Church heading into open fields. We crossed the railway twice with lots of trains to see along the way. The walk was flat which gave plenty of opportunity to chat on the way around. The weather was beautiful. We finished the day wth lunch at the Dog and Gun in Carlton Miniott, which was a lovely finish to a great day.
