Helm, Abbotside Common, Low Clints, Sedbusk, Camshouse Pasture and the old railway line back into Bainbridge - 12.5 miles

Seven members and five guests enjoyed glorious sunshine and warm temperatures walking in Upper Wensleydale. The walk from Bainbridge to Mill Gill to view the waterfall saw newly born lambs gamboling in the fields. On the open moorland of Abbotside Common, lapwing, oyster catcher and curlew were in abundance whilst a red kite soared overhead. Given the clement weather, lunch on the top of Pike Hill was a must thereby enabling us to enjoy panoramic views across to Ingleborough, Baugh Fell, Wild Boar Fell, Great Shunner Fell, Addlebrough, Penhill and Buckden Pike.
