Walking from Buckden to Birks Fell, Horse Head Pass, Raisgill and Yockenthwaite, returning via Scar House, Cray and Buckden Rake -  12 miles

Seven members enjoyed a 11 mile walk in Wharfedale and Langstrothdale. Starting at Buckden there was a steep but steady ascent onto Birks Fell followed by a ridge walk to Horse Head Pass. On our left Pen y Ghent and Ingleborough were clearly visible. The steep descent to Raisgill and Yockenthwaite was rewarded with sweeping views across Langstrothdale. The return route was via Scar House, Cray and Buckden Rake.
